Photographer/graphic designer/photo manipulator Whitembrace lives near Rome (Italy). She owns a professional photography and graphic studio/shop with her family who are also fully involved in imaging. She graduated in Digital Art in 2005. Since 2004 she has contributed to the Deviantart.com community where she’s grown as an artist, and where she defined her personality. Because her favorite style is gloomy, dark, obscure and fantastic, she began creating visionary artworks and wicked photographic portraits. She takes inspiration from wild nature, dark skies, ancient tales and anything that can arouse her imagination.

Having achieved her 15,000 page views at Deviantart.com (which is a second home for her) and attracting over that 250 viewers, in 2006 she started to share her art on MySpace. In addition to her art account, she also opened a modeling profile showcasing her portfolio as model and performer. She has been commissioned for advertising, personal portfolios, posters, and the like. She provides unique styles for booklet artworks, flyers, general graphics, logos, band photo shoots, and anything involved with imaging, photography, and digital art.

Whitembrace began to manipulate pictures in order to recreate her dreamy visions, ideas, and imaginations. She's a very complex person often haunted by phobias, insomnia, and fears which she likes to express to free her soul from a creative burden. She began to use Photoshop (v.6 her first) by herself, just to start giving shape to her ideas. When she mastered the base tools, she started to look for web tutorials. Later she started to attend a digital graphic academy in Rome, where she learned to use other digital tools and she became more confident with digital art. She graduated with excellent scores. Now she uses Photoshop cs2, and is constantly trying to improve her airbrushing and painting in order to achieve even more dreamy and misty atmospheres. She is currently working in her family's enterprise - using Photoshop to retouch and restore ancient pictures. She spends many hours giving new life to old photos while maintaining their original taste. Whitembrace has an enormous portfolio of precious renovated images compared to the damaged originals.
